Historic Biscayne Boulevard Home Sold To Investor

Homes can be bought much faster when you seek the help of investment companies like HomeUnion Investment Properties. With a little professional help, anything can be processed much faster.

Such was the case with a historic Biscayne Boulevard Home in MiMo.
According to reports, a 2,000 square-foot house from the MiMo Boulevard Historic District was sold and has been purchased for $775, 000. The house is said to be 77 years old.

The property is estimated to be 7, 340 square-foot and located at 5631 Biscayne Boulevard just across the street from the future site of the Boulevard 57, a 107-unit condominium of Unitas Development Group.

Keyes Commercial Realty’s Tony Ullua was the broker who represented both the buyer and the seller during the process of transaction and the lucky man who managed to claim the historic home is none other than the president of Global Investments Realty himself, Joel Rodriguez.

The previous owners and sellers were hotelier couple Orlando and Gladys Valdes. This couple had already bought the Cavalier South Beach located at the 1320 Ocean Drive for an outstanding price of $12.5 million while also having purchased the Motel Blu found in 7700 Biscayne Boulevard back in 2014 for $4.2 million. The purchases were made after they sold South Beach’s Dolores and Eva hotels for a remarkable $17.5 million. In February, they have also made the decision to sell The Orchid House found at 1350 Collins Avenue for an estimated $7.5 million.
The property that was sold to Joel Rodriguez was owned by the Valdeses for about 11 years. It was sold for about $105.59 per square foot. The hotelier couple first bought the house back in 2004 at a price of $625, 000.

Ullua said that the purchase is a testament as to how aggressive the market is now saying how a lot of people had already wanted to buy it after it had been placed into contract.

There were no alterations done with the historic home, Ullua says. Everything is how it originally is.

Joel had planned to move his office there but now has decided to lease it as either a commercial or a residential property.
